Techno-Functional IT Lead

About the role

The Workday Techno-Functional Lead will drive the end‑to‑end implementation and ongoing management of Workday HCM across Transmed’s operations in 14 countries. This role sits at the intersection of HR, IT and implementation partners, ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value and supports the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full Workday lifecycle: discovery, design, configuration, data migration, testing, go‑live and hyper‑care.
• Conduct SIT/UAT, manage test coverage, resolve defects and obtain business sign‑off.
• Define cut‑over strategy, oversee hyper‑care, and transition to BAU support.
• Facilitate design workshops with HR and Payroll stakeholders and translate requirements into Workday Business Process Frameworks.
• Configure Core HCM modules (org structures, staffing, absence, time tracking, compensation, benefits) and integrate payroll and other HR systems.
• Develop and support integrations using EIB, Core Connectors and Workday Studio.
• Drive data migration strategy, cleansing, validation and reporting/dashboard development.
• Provide governance, risk tracking, stakeholder communication and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead change‑management, user‑adoption and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale Workday HCM implementations across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
