About the role

Join Portaluna, a Morgans Originals hotel, as a Waiter delivering a personalized dining experience in a vibrant, lifestyle‑focused restaurant. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every meal feels unique and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide tailored menu recommendations based on preferences, dietary needs and the restaurant’s specialty.
• Answer detailed questions about ingredients, preparation methods, allergens and dietary restrictions with expertise.
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system, communicating special requests to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages professionally, maintaining presentation standards and timely delivery.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing concerns promptly.
• Stay updated on seasonal menu changes, new dishes and beverage pairings, and share these insights with guests.

Required profile

• Strong passion for hospitality and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Knowledge of menu composition, wine, cocktail and non‑alcoholic pairings.
• Understanding of dietary restrictions such as gluten‑free, vegan and low‑sodium options.
