Warehouse Associate – Inventory & SAP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Mondi Suez team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will ensure the accuracy of both perpetual and physical inventories while managing SAP inventory transactions. The role involves close collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance, Procurement and third‑party logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Mondi’s safety programs and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate physical inventory activities and cycle counts with the Finance department.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify inventory root‑cause issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work with Purchasing to recommend safety stock levels and reorder points for supplies, packaging, chemicals and inks.
• Process and document approved scrap transactions in the system.
• Monitor product expiration dates and enforce FIFO practices.
• Serve as the primary warehouse liaison for internal departments, customers, vendors and third‑party logistics providers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and safely handle all warehouse products, tools and equipment.
• Work a scheduled shift from Saturday to Thursday in a dynamic manufacturing plant environment.

Required profile

• University degree in logistics, business administration, engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in shipping/receiving, material handling and inventory control within an industrial setting.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, cycle counting and data analysis.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
• Experience with SAP software (highly preferred).
• Very good English language skills.
