Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and results‑driven Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate books, supporting month‑end close, and providing insightful financial analysis to help drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring ledger accuracy and proper bookkeeping.
• Perform and review general ledger postings, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with a focus on timeliness and precision.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses, reports, and account reconciliations for management review.
• Support year‑end closing activities and coordinate external audits.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable cycles, enforcing proper controls.
• Prepare and review tax computations, filings, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Review, verify, and approve expense reports in line with firm policies.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and help implement accounting best practices.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments on financial matters.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant accounting experience; law‑firm experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions.
• Proficiency with Odoo accounting system.
• MS Office suite.
