Accounting Clerk (Insurance)

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to support its insurance clients. This remote position plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth invoice processing for back‑office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter accounting data into the Applied Epic system.
• Reconcile accounts to maintain data integrity.
• Prepare internal invoices for processing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or clerical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts payable invoice processing.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts receivable billing and invoicing.
• Experience performing account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for accounting tasks.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level (spoken and written).
• Availability to work during Eastern Time (EST) business hours.
• Reliable remote‑work setup with stable internet, backup options, and appropriate equipment.
