Accounting Manager (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

Mufeed Company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager on a freelance, remote basis to support and oversee the Group’s accounting operations. Based in Cairo and reporting to the Head Office in Riyadh, the role will lead month‑end closing, financial reporting and compliance activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, accruals, payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes, prepare trial balances and management reports.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance, bank and vendor reconciliations, inter‑company balances and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Support ERP implementation, workflow improvements and finance automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, coordinate with external and internal auditors, and maintain audit documentation.
• Supervise and guide accounting team members, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and month‑end closing.
• Proactive attitude with ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experience coordinating with cross‑functional departments and head‑office finance teams.
