Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing customer billing, collections and all related transactions. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely cash collection and supports effective working‑capital management within a logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit and credit notes accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances and apply payments.
• Perform periodic account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers regarding overdue invoices and support dispute resolution.
• Assist month‑end closing by recording AR transactions and preparing aging, collection and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial and other departments to verify billing accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in logistics or supply‑chain.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.
