AI Summer Trainee – Network Infrastructure Deployment (Egypt)

About the role

Join Nokia's Network Infrastructure (NI) Deployment Service team as a Summer Trainee at the Egypt Hub. You will support remote deployment activities across the MEA region, work with AI‑driven automation, and gain hands‑on experience with IP, Optical, and Fixed network technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with automation and local teams to develop and deploy AI‑driven solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Build a strong technical understanding of Nokia NI, including IP, Optics, and Fixed Networks through practical tasks.
• Use Nokia Digital Deploy tools, operating models, and industry best practices to manage daily activities.
• Work closely with domain experts to ensure technical solutions align with regional priorities.
• Receive coaching and mentoring from experienced professionals.
• Submit a proposal at the end of the assignment to improve daily operations, with top ideas potentially leading to a 6‑month internship.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or final‑year student in Computer Science.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and teamwork abilities in a geographically distributed environment.

Required skills

• Foundation in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
• Programming in Python.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts such as autonomous decision‑making and reinforcement learning.
