Assistant Store Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Store Supervisor supports the Store Supervisor in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth order processing, inventory control and staff coordination. This role is pivotal in maintaining stock availability and delivering accurate order fulfilment for Talabat’s delivery network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage store operations during assigned shifts, including staff supervision, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, and pick‑and‑pack activities.
• Assist the Store Supervisor with staff selection, shift scheduling and routine maintenance.
• Ensure proper stock levels by monitoring inventory, conducting stock‑takes, cycle counts and placing replenishment orders based on demand forecasts.
• Oversee inbound receiving to guarantee accurate receipt of goods according to SOPs.
• Supervise outbound processes to achieve efficient and accurate picking and packing of customer orders.
• Monitor fulfillment performance and suggest improvements to boost productivity and profitability.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a supermarket, retail or restaurant environment.
• Strong communication abilities and a hands‑on attitude toward operational tools.
• Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
