Assistant/Associate Professor – Electrical & Computer Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor to join the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and interdisciplinary projects in industrial automation and robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core and major subjects of electrical and computer engineering.
• Develop and manage study programmes, introducing pedagogical innovations.
• Lead research activities, secure funding, and supervise graduate and doctoral students.
• Collaborate with industry partners on applied projects in industrial automation, IoT, and robotics.
• Maintain and expand a modern research and training laboratory.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in Electrical, Computer, or related engineering.
• Minimum five years of professional experience after graduation, with at least three years outside higher‑education institutions.
• Proven record of collaborative research and successful student supervision.
• Excellent teaching abilities at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
