Associate Regional Lawyer & Compliance – GCC & Middle East

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Regional Lawyer & Compliance Specialist to join our governance team and support operations across the GCC and Middle East. The role involves providing legal counsel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing key compliance processes for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Ensure compliance with regional laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support internal legal procedures, governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts, policies, and agreements.
• Coordinate with external regional counsel and internal stakeholders on legal and compliance issues.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across GCC and Middle East jurisdictions.
• Manage and maintain KYC records for parent companies and subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university, taught in English.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant legal and compliance experience in the GCC/Middle East region.
• Experience with compliance, KYC, AML, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of GCC and Middle East regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
