Audit Manager (Credit & Treasury)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Audit Manager specializing in Credit and Treasury to join our Internal Audit function. Reporting to the Senior Internal Audit Manager / Country Head of Audit, you will independently evaluate internal controls, safeguard the bank’s assets, and ensure compliance with regulatory and AML standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, execute and conclude internal audits across Credit, Treasury and broader banking operations.
• Develop comprehensive audit plans, define scope, methodology and key risk areas.
• Identify, assess and rate risks that could affect strategic objectives.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, control weaknesses and actionable recommendations.
• Review and validate management action plans and closure requests.
• Lead stakeholder meetings to drive timely resolution of control gaps.
• Participate in special assignments such as investigations, system implementations and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain continuous engagement with business and infrastructure teams to support the annual audit plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification (CIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 7‑10 years of internal audit experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong exposure to Credit and Treasury operations and related risks.
• In‑depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and AML requirements.
• Proven experience as Auditor‑in‑Charge leading end‑to‑end audit assignments.
• Excellent report writing, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
