Bar Waiter / Waitress

About the role

The Bar Waiter/Waitress will be stationed at one of the hotel’s bars, delivering food and beverage service to guests in a luxury all‑inclusive environment. The role requires a friendly, attentive attitude and the ability to follow service standards while promoting daily specials and upselling targeted items.

Key responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly, following the service manual.
• Explain menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods when requested.
• Welcome guests with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using their name when possible.
• Listen to guest inquiries and respond positively, adhering to brand‑specific processes.
• Inform customers about order alternatives and encourage sales of targeted services.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and safeguard any personal belongings left by guests.
• Comply with all Food & Beverage department instructions, operational standards, and weekly work schedules.
• Participate in orientation training and bi‑annual performance assessments.
