Business Banking Relationship Manager (Egypt)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager to lead the acquisition and growth of mid‑cap and commercial clients in Egypt. The role focuses on expanding the bank’s presence among SMEs and retail customers, driving new‑to‑bank business and delivering revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate new‑to‑bank business in the target mid‑cap/commercial segment (assets > EGP500 Mn).
• Achieve agreed asset, liability and revenue targets by extending funded and non‑funded facilities, trade and remittance volumes, and cross‑selling additional bank products.
• Prepare credit packages, assess client creditworthiness and recommend facility approvals.
• Mitigate credit risk through thorough credit analysis and proper execution of security documentation.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, account review, high‑value transaction monitoring and STR escalation requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, profitability and collection trends.
• Own customer issues and coordinate with internal partners to reach resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business or corporate banking, preferably serving SMEs and mid‑cap clients.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk mitigation and banking regulations.
• Ability to meet sales and revenue targets while maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KYC and AML compliance processes.
• Familiarity with credit underwriting and security documentation.
