About the role
We are a leading payment gateway operating in the Egyptian market and are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to grow our Payin and Payout services. You will be responsible for acquiring high‑volume merchants and financial partners, helping them adopt our platform for local collections and instant transfers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and close deals with global brands (SaaS, gaming, retail) seeking entry into Egypt.
- Promote local payment methods such as Fawry kiosks, Vodafone Cash, and Meeza cards.
- Ensure merchants achieve high payment acceptance rates and smooth checkout experiences.
- Sell real‑time payout solutions to companies needing instant supplier, driver, or influencer payments.
- Partner with Egyptian fintech apps and neobanks to provide Fintech‑as‑a‑Service.
- Drive mass disbursement adoption for large enterprises still using manual processes.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to the first live transaction and monitor volume growth.
Required profile
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Egyptian fintech or banking sector (e.g., Paymob, Fawry, Geidea, CIB).
- Deep knowledge of local payment ecosystems and Central Bank of Egypt regulations.
- Proven ability to reach decision‑makers and close high‑value contracts.
- Fluent in Arabic for local pitches and English for international negotiations.
Required skills
- Understanding of payment processing flows (cards, wallets, instant transfers).
- Familiarity with Egyptian payment methods (Fawry, Vodafone Cash, Meeza).
- Knowledge of CBE regulatory framework.
