Cash and Voucher Assistance Coordinator

About the role

The Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of cash and voucher programmes for the Gaza Response. Working closely with programme, MEAL, finance, advocacy and safeguarding teams, the coordinator ensures timely, high‑quality delivery of assistance to children, youth and families affected by the emergency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CVA assessments—including feasibility, risk, market and vulnerability analyses—following internal standards.
• Coordinate with thematic areas, external NGOs and international agencies to document findings and ensure disaggregated analysis of children’s needs.
• Develop CVA sector plans and master budgets in collaboration with the CVA Officer and response team, aligning with overall programme objectives.
• Oversee sector‑plan implementation, managing emerging risks, safeguarding concerns, referral pathways and adherence to international standards.
• Supervise field implementation of cash and voucher activities, ensuring compliance with monitoring and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian cash and voucher programmes, preferably in emergency contexts.
• Knowledge of child safeguarding standards (Level 3 contact).
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to major humanitarian emergencies.
• Strong coordination and reporting skills across multi‑agency environments.
