Chief Accountant

About the role

As the Chief Accountant for a Hilton hotel, you will lead the financial operations that keep the property running smoothly and support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with hotel leadership to align financial strategy with business goals while fostering a culture of hospitality within the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the hotel’s financial strategy, optimizing profitability and efficiency.
• Review financial performance, reconcile accounts, and provide actionable insights to senior management and owners.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Night Audit functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, cash receipt coding, and internal audit support.
• Authorize ledger reconciliations, tax filings, and payroll processing to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff, conduct performance evaluations and promote professional growth.
