Commercial Funding Specialist – Associate (ETIC)

About the role

The Commercial Funding Specialist will be the primary contact for Alliance partner funding programmes across EMEA. Working closely with Alliance Drivers, Marketers and account teams, you will ensure funding opportunities from partners such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and AWS are fully understood, utilised and executed across migrations, POCs, marketing and GTM activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of partner funding programmes, eligibility criteria, processes and reporting requirements.
• Act as the go‑to funding expert for Alliance Drivers, Marketers and account teams, providing guidance and answering queries.
• Support teams in preparing data, documentation and inputs required for funding requests.
• Handle ad‑hoc funding requests and edge cases that fall outside standard automated workflows.
• Draft, review and refine Statements of Work and supporting documents that cannot be generated by AI agents.
• Follow up on approvals, claims and outstanding items, ensuring manual interventions are completed.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in alliance partner funding, channel operations or vendor co‑investment programmes.
• Solid understanding of partner funding mechanisms such as co‑marketing funds, MDF, migration/POC funding and GTM investments.
• Experience preparing or reviewing SOWs, funding proposals and claims in an alliance context.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, capable of engaging senior Alliance leaders and partner contacts.
