Commercial Leader – Egypt

About the role

The Commercial Leader will head Corteva’s Pioneer Seed business in Egypt, driving profitability, sustainable growth and compliance. You will shape the country strategy, lead a high‑performing commercial team and act as the primary representative for key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Egypt’s country strategy aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
• Set short‑ and long‑term business vision, priorities and goals for the local team and regional management.
• Identify and focus on the most profitable growth opportunities.
• Lead the commercial organization, supervising Sales Managers and the Marketing Manager to achieve top‑line and bottom‑line targets.
• Maintain and grow market share, customer acquisition and retention.
• Oversee commercial development strategies and country‑specific commercial conditions.
• Build people capabilities through clear expectations, coaching, succession planning and a culture of recognition.
• Ensure full compliance with Corteva’s conduct policy, core values, national statutes and antitrust laws.
• Protect company assets, including physical, financial, intellectual property and human resources.
• Represent Pioneer in Egypt with customers, government bodies, authorities and industry associations, enhancing the company’s image.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in the agriculture or seed sector.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute country‑level strategies.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue, volume and margin targets.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving people development.
• Solid understanding of compliance, legal and governance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with government, customers and industry bodies.
