Compliance Manager – Anti-Bribery & Sanctions

About the role

Hassan Allam Utilities is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to lead its integrity framework across energy, logistics, water and social infrastructure projects. The role focuses on anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, sanctions and politically exposed persons compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor a comprehensive compliance program aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide proactive advice to senior management and the board on compliance risks, ethical issues and growth initiatives.
• Stay current on changes in international and Egyptian laws, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessments, deep‑dive monitoring and regular compliance checks across business units.
• Develop and deliver training programs on anti‑bribery, corruption and sanctions.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior leadership, partner teams and the board.
• Ensure compliance with Development Finance Institution (DFI) requirements and manage all compliance‑related communications.
• Support broader compliance risk assessments across the holding company as the framework matures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within construction or renewable energy.
• Professional compliance certification (e.g., CCEP, CFE) highly preferred.
• Proven track record of implementing compliance programs and conducting high‑level monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of international ABC and sanctions regulations and Egyptian law.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
