Corporate System Manager

About the role

The Corporate System Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT ecosystem of a fleet of river ships and three corporate offices. This role ensures continuous operation of servers, networks, VSAT, TVRO, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and all client devices while driving improvements and new technology deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily operations following run books and technical documentation.
• Monitor hardware, servers, CCTV, and critical processes; review logs and verify scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Maintain up‑to‑date operational documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Generate performance reports to aid capacity planning.
• Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Manage data‑center environmental and monitoring equipment.
• Keep accurate hardware inventory and ensure all IT equipment is in optimal condition.
• Provide basic user training and support for standard PC software and specialized property‑management systems.
• Monitor and optimize internet communication systems for maximum performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on new‑build ships and oversee deployment at construction yards.
• Handle user‑reported issues via the ticketing system and provide relief coverage as needed.
• Travel monthly for onboard visits and inspections.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, networking, and server administration.
• Experience with TVRO, Wi‑Fi systems, and virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel regularly.
