DevOps Engineer – Developer Background

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level DevOps Engineer with a strong development background to join our dynamic technology team. The role bridges development and operations, focusing on Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, and modern software engineering practices. This hybrid position requires at least three years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code for scalable Azure deployments.
• Containerize applications and manage Docker‑based orchestration.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve performance, reliability, and release frequency.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash, PowerShell, Python or similar scripting languages.
• Monitor system health, configure alerts, and ensure high availability of cloud services.
• Manage source‑code workflows, branching strategies, and Git version control.
• Support ERP or enterprise system integrations where needed.
• Embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic preferred).
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ‑400, AZ‑104, AZ‑900) is a plus.
