Experienced Accounting Advisory Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Advisory role at keepersadvisory involves managing and reporting all accounting data, closing financial reports, and collaborating closely with the advisory team. You will also develop standard operating procedures, implement accounting systems, and lead a team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare financial statements and periodic reports.
• Reconcile sales and discrepancies weekly across gateways and third‑party accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Assist in developing and enhancing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify issues in accounting systems and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and respond to client account inquiries.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while coordinating with auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CMA, CPA or CA is a plus.
• Experience in accounting or finance, preferably with small‑medium businesses.
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage projects.
• Professionalism, integrity and strong business ethics.
