About the role
PWC's ETIC (Technology and Innovation Centre) in Cairo is seeking a Finance Senior Associate who is fluent in German. The role focuses on delivering Finance Managed Services to clients, overseeing day‑to‑day engagement operations and contributing to strategic finance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily delivery for finance engagements, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions across procure‑to‑pay, record‑to‑report, order‑to‑cash and general ledger functions.
- Conduct quality reviews and audits to guarantee compliance with policies, procedures and client expectations.
- Own SLA/OLA compliance, monitor team performance and provide coaching to drive high‑performance culture.
- Collaborate with PwC member firms, vendors and client teams to implement and improve cross‑border finance tools and processes.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (Part‑Qualified or Chartered) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, risk management and controls, including accounting for financial instruments.
- Fluent in English and German, able to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel for financial modeling.
