Financial Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Auditor to join our Finance team. The role focuses on evaluating financial records, internal controls, and accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency within a corporate, technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal financial audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and policy compliance.
• Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities in financial processes.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and support external audit engagements.
• Evaluate expense reports, vendor payments, revenue recognition, payroll transactions, and other financial activities.
• Maintain audit documentation in line with professional standards and stay current with accounting and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in financial or internal auditing, accounting, or a similar finance role.
• Experience in the software, IT, or technology industry is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal‑control frameworks.
