Fitout Architecture Manager – Malls

About the role

We are seeking a Fitout Architecture Manager to lead tenant coordination and fit‑out projects within shopping malls. The role ensures that all retail units meet engineering, architectural and safety standards from hand‑over through final commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce tenants to mall engineering fit‑out criteria and design guidelines.
• Inspect retail units on hand‑over and coordinate mechanical and architectural tie‑ins.
• Review tenant‑proposed architectural designs for compliance with mall guidelines and safety standards.
• Process tenant inspection requests throughout the fit‑out lifecycle, including first fix, installations, testing and commissioning.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the broader workforce.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and engineers, attending regular progress meetings.
• Plan and organise site fit‑out progress to meet deadlines and tenant contracts.
• Resolve technical difficulties, design clashes and on‑site challenges promptly.
• Oversee quality control and health & safety standards on site.
• Prepare progress, inspection and technical reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in the retail/mall industry.
• Very strong spoken and written English proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
