Front Office Agent – Hospitality

About the role

The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering a friendly, caring, and professional experience during check‑in and check‑out. This role shapes the guest’s first and last impression of the residence.

Key responsibilities

• Check‑in arriving guests, register them, assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
• Assist guests with registration cards, baggage handling and use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and other services.
• Verify payment methods, follow credit‑checking procedures and handle cash transactions.
• Process check‑out, inquire about last‑minute charges, settle accounts and issue invoices.
• Manage front‑office cash operations, foreign‑currency exchange and balance cash float at shift end.
• Answer guest inquiries by phone or in person, issue safe‑deposit boxes, handle messages and forward complaints.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping for late check‑outs, early check‑ins and special requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and service knowledge and keep the work area tidy.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both oral and written; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in luxury hotel environments preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational setting.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts (11 pm‑8 am) up to 15 days per month.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
