About the role
The Front Office Manager will lead all Front Office functions for Portaluna, the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. This role is critical during the pre‑opening phase to establish service standards, operational processes, and a team culture that reflects the brand’s vibrant personality.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the set‑up of Front Office operations, including recruitment, training, and implementation of SOPs and luxury service standards.
- Design and implement operational tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators from day one.
- Oversee daily Front Office activities such as Guest Relations, Reception, Concierge, and Bell Services, ensuring brand standards are consistently met.
- Manage team performance, scheduling, and departmental budgets to drive efficiency.
- Handle guest complaints and service recovery with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless inter‑departmental operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Mentor, develop, and motivate the Front Office team, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting sustainability and socially responsible practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading Front Office teams, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of pre‑opening processes and ability to establish operational standards.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and guest‑centric mindset.
