About the role
We are seeking a General Manager Sales for Egypt to lead the commercial strategy of a global building‑materials manufacturer. Reporting to the Country General Manager and the Regional Chief Commercial Officer, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution across a complex sales organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for Egypt, driving revenue growth, margin expansion and market‑share gains.
- Lead and inspire a high‑performing sales team across projects, distribution, retail and specification‑driven channels.
- Develop strategic partnerships with developers, contractors, distributors and key clients.
- Ensure sales excellence, compliance and governance while representing the business externally.
- Shape the commercial roadmap for sustainable growth and potential succession to broader country leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience as a Sales Director in a multinational construction or building‑materials organization in Egypt.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Strong strategic mindset with a hands‑on, results‑oriented approach.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Operations and Supply‑Chain functions.
Required skills
- Technical knowledge of construction and building‑materials products.
