Hardware Electronics Lab Technician

About the role

Avelabs, an Arrow Company, is looking for a meticulous Hardware Electronics Lab Technician to join its automotive software engineering team in Maadi Technology Park. You will work hands‑on with engineers to assemble, test, and validate electronic prototypes in a fast‑paced lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and debug electronic circuits and hardware prototypes.
• Perform SMT and through‑hole soldering, as well as PCB rework.
• Set up and operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Support board bring‑up, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain lab tools, inventory, and ensure ESD safety compliance.
• Document test procedures, results, and observations clearly.
• Assist in preparing hardware for validation, certification, and demo sessions.
• Participate in failure analysis and root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in an electronics laboratory.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB assembly, soldering and rework.
• Familiarity with electronic components, schematics and datasheets.
• Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits.
