Hospitals Warehouse & Distribution Manager

About the role

The Hospitals Warehouse & Distribution Manager will lead the end‑to‑end logistics operations across Cleopatra Hospitals Group facilities. You will design, standardise and monitor warehouse processes, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant handling of medical supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and approve warehouse procedures, work instructions, checklists and standards for all group hospitals.
• Standardise receiving, storage, FEFO, put‑away, issuing, returns, quarantine, cold‑chain and high‑value storage practices.
• Conduct performance reviews, audits and site visits to monitor execution across sites.
• Coordinate distribution schedules, delivery priorities, inter‑site movements and last‑mile service performance.
• Work with Regional Supply Chain Managers and Hospital Supply Planners to align replenishment flow with approved supply plans.
• Track warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, cycle‑count compliance and documentation quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements and support WMS, barcode and automation implementations.
• Prepare performance reports and escalate critical issues to the Logistics Associate Director.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience in healthcare warehouse or logistics management.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑site warehouse teams and drive process optimisation.
• Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs such as inventory accuracy and FEFO compliance.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for supervising warehouse supervisors.
