Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

ONA Electric Industries is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Fifth Settlement, New Cairo. You will focus on sheet‑metal component design, turning concepts into detailed 3D models and production‑ready drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components with an emphasis on sheet‑metal parts.
• Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare technical documentation, production drawings, and reports using MS Office.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing.
• Support design modifications and continuous product improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with SolidWorks sheet‑metal design.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet‑metal module).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of sheet‑metal design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with MS Office; KeyShot is a plus.

What we offer

• Net salary ranging from EGP 10,000 to 15,000 per month, based on experience and interview evaluation.
