Junior Quality Control Engineer

About the role

PentaValue is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Quality Control Engineer to join its on‑site Quality Control team in Cairo. You will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure software requirements and designs meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and design documents for accuracy, completeness, and testability.
• Validate traceability matrices to guarantee proper test coverage.
• Assist in creating test plans, defining testing scope, and generating edge‑case scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects; verify resolutions with the development team.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and pursue relevant QA certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Software Engineering.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with requirements traceability and defect tracking.
