Lady In Red – Guest Relations (Egyptian candidates only)

About the role

The Lady in Red is the iconic ambassador of Kempinski Cairo, acting as the hotel’s first lady. Reporting directly to the General Manager, she welcomes, assists and bids farewell to guests, ensuring the highest service standards and immediate decision‑making for guest wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate the hotel’s philosophy and represent the brand to all guests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the hotel, city and VIP guests, distributing daily guest fact sheets.
• Welcome, escort and farewell top VIPs, preparing tailored itineraries in coordination with the FOM and GM.
• Handle guest complaints and requests efficiently, recording and following up with relevant departments.
• Make decisions on upgrades, comps and rebates according to hotel policies.
• Participate in daily briefings, safety reporting and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Female candidate with a valid work permit for Egypt.
• Minimum 3 years managerial experience in Front Office or Guest Relations at a 5‑star international hotel.
• Excellent oral and written English and Arabic communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, VIP protocol and local tourist information.
• Demonstrated supervisory abilities and a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Basic knowledge of Micros POS system.
