Lead Business Consultant – Strategic Transformation

About the role

VOIS, the strategic arm of Vodafone Group, is looking for an experienced Lead Business Consultant to drive high‑impact transformation initiatives across its global portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes while expanding the consulting practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of strategic consulting engagements, aligning demand, priorities and resources with VOIS and Vodafone objectives.
• Partner with senior leaders to assess challenges, define transformation opportunities and develop operating models and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure engagement quality, value realisation and executive decision‑making through rigorous analysis, governance and risk management.
• Collaborate with programme and project teams to reduce execution risk, accelerate adoption and achieve measurable results.
• Coach, develop and manage a high‑performing consulting team, overseeing performance, capability building and succession planning.
• Standardise methodologies, create reusable assets and drive continuous improvement of consulting practices.
• Apply AI, GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities to redesign processes, operating models and customer experiences.
• Develop business cases, scope engagements, plan resources and nurture stakeholder relationships to drive commercial effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale business transformation projects, preferably within the telecom or technology sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing senior executives.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and developing consulting teams.
