Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of its facilities in Cairo, Egypt. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to ensure guest areas and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrate controls, gauges and meters, and operate shut‑off valves.
• Inspect, test and maintain life‑safety systems including fire‑pump, generator, sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Manage inventory, order parts, maintain purchase‑order logs and stock supplies.
• Operate power lifts and handle tools and equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Respond to guest repair requests and support disaster‑response protocol development.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching of maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Technical, trade or vocational school education preferred.
