Manufacturing Site Calibration Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Site Calibration Technician ensures that all measuring instruments and testing equipment used on the production floor and in the laboratory operate with the highest accuracy and reliability. Working in a GMP‑regulated environment, the technician performs complex calibrations, adjustments, and fine‑tuning to meet strict industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive calibration and verification procedures for laboratory instruments and production equipment.
• Follow established Calibration Management Plans (CMP) and document all activities.
• Perform complex calibrations, adjustments, and fine‑tuning of mechanical and electrical instruments.
• Analyze raw data from verification activities and generate detailed calibration reports.
• Maintain calibration records in compliance with regulatory and internal quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure measurement accuracy and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of calibration experience, including 8‑10 years in GMP‑regulated facilities.
• Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with calibration tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SAP and SAP PM (or similar maintenance management systems).
• Familiarity with BMS software programs.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise.
