Medical Research Writer – Full‑Time Remote (Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Research Writer to join our team remotely from Cairo. The role involves producing high‑quality scientific manuscripts, review articles and clinical study proposals for our clients in the health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit complete medical manuscripts for journal publication.
• Prepare review articles, proposals and design clinical studies based on client needs.
• Perform and interpret biostatistical analyses and incorporate results into manuscripts.
• Critically appraise published medical literature, including systematic reviews and meta‑analyses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of recent medical literature.
• Use citation management tools such as EndNote to format references.
• Meet tight deadlines while ensuring scientific accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Dental Surgery or a related health field.
• 1–5 years of experience in medical writing or editorial work for a scientific journal.
• Strong proficiency in English academic writing.
• Experience with editorial tasks in a medical journal is desirable.

Required skills

• Biostatistics and biostatistical analysis.
• EndNote or other citation‑management software.
• Systematic review and meta‑analysis methodology (desired).
