Nursery Teacher – Early Years (EYFS) – El Sheikh Zayed

About the role

The Nursery Teacher will join Pixie Wings – Nursery & DayCare in El Sheikh Zayed, delivering the EYFS British curriculum to children aged 1‑5. Working on‑site full‑time, you will create a safe, inclusive environment where each child can explore, learn and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Prepare and organise indoor and outdoor learning activities.
• Observe, document and assess children’s progress across social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains.
• Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating classroom setting.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children’s development.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to organise camps, special events and extra‑curricular programs.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience in early years settings such as nurseries or preschools.
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum or willingness to learn it.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and child safeguarding.
• Strong organisational and classroom‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Lesson planning for children aged 1‑4 years.
• Effective communication with children, families and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
