Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

El Khabiry Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its on‑site team in Egypt. This full‑time position focuses on delivering safe, accurate, and patient‑centered pharmaceutical care within a busy community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions for potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, storage, and health advice.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and ensure compliance with local pharmacy regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage expirations, and prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Support overall efficiency and quality of service at the pharmacy.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
• Excellent patient‑counseling skills in Arabic; basic English is a plus.
• High attention to detail in dispensing, documentation, and record keeping.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to flexible shifts.
• Previous community pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
