Production Process Design Engineer

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Production Process Design Engineer to support the development of new production equipment and processes for its automotive wiring systems. The role will work closely with country and production management teams to ensure smooth implementation of production concepts and new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support new production equipment and processes, providing training and technical assistance to production staff.
• Plan, standardize and execute production engineering activities, including change management, equipment planning, and master data creation.
• Collaborate with the Production Concept Team to integrate new processes into the plant.
• Define and implement material flow and process setups within assembly lines.
• Create and maintain manufacturing master data such as MRP, production drawings, BOM, MES data, board designs, and FMEA.
• Develop and update work instructions, visual aids, and operator documentation.
• Evaluate and manage technical changes and new product implementations according to change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in process engineering.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
