Promotion Area Manager – Alexandria & El Behira

About the role

The Promotion Area Manager will lead the regional promotion activities for our publishing portfolio across Alexandria and El Behira. You will coordinate a team of supervisors, drive market penetration, and ensure the achievement of sales and marketing targets.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate supervisors to provinces according to the work plan.
• Continuously follow up with supervisors to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Monitor and maintain the database of merchants and libraries in each assigned province.
• Analyze market trends and target audiences to identify optimal marketing channels.
• Supervise the growth of the customer base in line with the work plan.
• Oversee the promotion process for the company’s books and related products.
• Receive, review, and act on supervisor reports.
• Collect and analyse data for periodic promotional performance reports.
• Prepare monthly supervisor evaluations and weekly/monthly work plans.
• Conduct technical interviews for new supervisors.
• Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance coaching to supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• 5‑7 years of experience as a sales or marketing supervisor.
• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or book industry is preferred.
• Resident of Alexandria or El Behira.
• Good proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
