Purchasing Representative (Automotive Manufacturing)

About the role

The Purchasing Representative will join MINRAF SPRINGS, a leading automotive suspension spring manufacturer in Egypt. Based in Cairo, the role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on managing the procurement cycle from order creation to delivery. The successful candidate will ensure cost‑effective purchasing while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders for raw materials and services.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in purchasing, procurement, and purchase order management.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
