Quality Specialist – Healthcare Quality Management

About the role

The Quality Specialist will support the implementation, coordination and maintenance of a comprehensive quality management system across OneHealth clinics, medical centers and inpatient units. The role ensures that healthcare programs meet the highest standards, patients receive optimal care, and the organization complies with national regulations and international accreditation requirements such as JCI, ISO and GAHAR.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the Quality Management System (QMS) across all sites, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) workflows.
• Support accreditation cycles (JCI, ISO, GAHAR) by preparing documentation, conducting audits and ensuring continuous readiness.
• Perform daily quality and clinical audits, infection‑control checks and “tracer” activities in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy departments.
• Investigate occurrence variance reports, clinical complaints and fraud, waste and abuse incidents; lead root‑cause analyses and track corrective actions.
• Collect and analyse performance data, generate regular reports using Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, and present findings to task forces.
• Provide training and education on quality assurance initiatives, clinical guidelines and documentation procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage patient data entry on the Peret system and act as a patient‑safety advocate by monitoring care‑plan implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field (physician, dentist, pharmacist or equivalent).
• Experience with quality management systems, clinical audits and accreditation processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret key performance indicators.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to create presentations with PowerPoint.
• Experience using Power BI for data visualisation.
