Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Hotel (Egyptian Only)

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and professional Restaurant Hostess to join our team at Kempinski Safaga. The role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience in line with our luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, maintain a polished appearance, and adhere to dress code and grooming standards.
• Manage the reservation book, update guest history, and coordinate menu printing.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, monitor supplies, and help reduce waste.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently, escalating issues to supervisors when needed.
• Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Promote upselling of food and beverage items and suggest alternatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and inventory checks.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a host/hostess in a similar setting, preferably a luxury five‑star hotel.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Egyptian nationality (as specified).
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
