Retail Sales Associate – Toys

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our toy store team. The role involves helping children and parents find the perfect toys while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and guide them to suitable products.
• Provide detailed product knowledge, including features, benefits, and age suitability.
• Recommend complementary items and upsell when appropriate.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Restock shelves, receive and label new inventory, and ensure attractive product displays.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and participate in store promotions and events.
• Share customer feedback with management to improve product selection and service.

Required profile

• Previous retail or sales experience preferred, especially with toys, stationery, or children’s products.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate about play.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient approach to engaging children and parents.
