About the role

The Sectoral Research Manager will lead in‑depth research on key economic sectors that affect the bank’s exposure. This role provides critical insights to guide investment, lending, and portfolio decisions, working closely with risk, credit, and strategy teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research and analysis of major sectors such as industrials, consumer goods, energy, financial services, and technology.
• Produce detailed sector reports, forecasts, and outlooks, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and economic conditions to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with credit and risk teams to assess sector‑specific risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support lending and investment decisions by providing regular sector updates and ensuring exposure aligns with risk tolerance.
• Engage senior leadership to integrate sector research into strategic planning and risk frameworks.
• Maintain relationships with external analysts and industry experts to stay abreast of emerging trends.
• Contribute to internal models and tools for assessing sectoral exposure and risk.
