Security Team Leader

About the role

The Security Team Leader will oversee all security operations at DP World Sokhna, ensuring compliance with port regulations, safety standards, and emergency procedures. This role combines hands‑on supervision, staff development, and coordination with external authorities to maintain a secure environment for personnel, assets, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor DP World‑Sokhna security policies and report any violations to the Security Manager.
• Lead emergency response actions according to the Emergency Action Plan.
• Train, mentor, and schedule security officers, ensuring proper uniform and equipment readiness.
• Conduct shift briefings, patrol inspections, and verify functionality of radios, vehicles, and technical security systems.
• Maintain access‑control systems, report malfunctions, and coordinate repairs.
• Develop security plans for crises, VIP visits, and cruise‑vessel transportation in collaboration with police and customs.
• Manage relationships with outsourced security providers, governmental authorities, and neighboring facilities.
• Archive officer records, evaluate performance quarterly, and oversee recruitment interviews.

Required profile

• Intermediate education level or higher.
• Proven experience in security operations and team leadership, preferably in a port or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety, QHSE, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
