Senior BIM Architecture Engineer

About the role

The Senior BIM Architecture Engineer will lead the creation, coordination and maintenance of architectural Building Information Models throughout all project phases. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will work closely with technical and BIM teams to ensure models meet design intent, project standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain accurate architectural BIM models from concept to handover.
• Produce coordinated model‑based deliverables such as drawings, schedules, details and documentation.
• Manage model geometry, data, and level of detail to support design development, multidisciplinary coordination and construction.
• Maintain model health, file integrity, naming conventions, view templates and content standards.
• Conduct model federation, clash detection and coordination with structural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
• Provide technical BIM input to resolve coordination issues while preserving design intent and buildability.
• Review models and deliverables for accuracy, completeness and compliance with project specifications.
• Extract quantities, schedules and other data to support design reviews and reporting.
• Enforce HSE and quality policies, reporting any violations according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, architectural workflows and standards (ISO 19650, LOD/LOI, IFC, COBie).
• Proven experience in architectural BIM modelling, coordination, drawing production and clash detection.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, including families, templates and shared parameters.
• Ability to work safely, adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain high quality standards.
