Senior Civil Engineer – C&B Consultant

About the role

Qureos Inc is seeking a senior civil engineer to act as a Cost & Budget (C&B) consultant for projects in Alexandria, Egypt. You will work closely with design teams to review drawings, prepare specifications, and support tender and quantity‑surveying activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural and civil drawings, identifying required materials and describing their types.
• Prepare and review project specifications and material lists.
• Analyse project costings for tenders, including materials, quantities, labour and schedule.
• Maintain a database of material suppliers.
• Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information for bid preparation.
• Support quantity‑surveying tasks and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with BIM, CAD and Revit.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Capability to analyse technical data and design drawings.
